They also forge links with the response agencies, community groups and community-based organizations (CBOs).<\/p><p>The Custos and Mayor of the parish, with the Mayor being the working member of the committee, chair the PDC jointly. Other sitting members of the committee include all Parish Councillors and local representatives of the various agencies and interested groups.<\/p><p>Each Parish has a Parish Disaster Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating all activities geared towards awareness, prevention, and response.
