{"id":1185,"date":"2010-09-13T09:00:52","date_gmt":"2010-09-13T09:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.odpem.org.jm\/?post_type=odpem_in_the_media&#038;p=1185"},"modified":"2019-08-22T17:15:30","modified_gmt":"2019-08-22T17:15:30","slug":"flash-flood-warning-bog-walk-gorge","status":"publish","type":"odpem_in_the_media","link":"https:\/\/www.odpem.gov.jm\/?odpem_in_the_media=flash-flood-warning-bog-walk-gorge","title":{"rendered":"Flash Flood Warning &#8211; Bog Walk Gorge"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising that as a result of the Flash flood warning that is currently in effect for all parishes, extreme care MUST be taken when using flood-prone areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VEHICULAR TRAFFIC VIA THE BOG WALK GORGE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AS THE GORGE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At report time, water levels within the Gorge were recorded at 13 feet, well in excess of the 8 feet critical level.
